| Give some wisdom to the Vipers: |
Put the right fuel in, train hard, play as a team and lead by example. |
Laura may be old,
And thought her kit was sold.
Her skates had a bit of rust,
And her helmet needed a dust.
But she gave it her all,
And is definitely having a ball!
A few words from the coaches..."It was a while since Laura had kitted-up
for the Vipers, or any hockey team for that matter, but as a
favour to the team who were short on players one game last season,
Laura returned to the ice to show-off her skills.
Thankfully, she enjoyed her time so much that she has decided to
play another season. The girls and coaches are delighted that this
old-timer has decided to show these youngsters a thing or two!
Unqestionably the tallest member of the hockey team who makes the
most of her long reach and stride to cause difficulties for the
opposition's offence. She also seems to have developed
quite a slap shot and the coaches are very much looking forward to
having a strong D-man who can pile the pressure on from the
blue line. We hope that she will thoroughly enjoy being back in the fold!"
