Give some wisdom to the Vipers: He who dares wins.
  • Coach Chic told me to write a limerick,
  • About me and my sweet hockey stick.
  • To be honest I don't think he's that scary,
  • He's a wee bit of a fairy.
  • There once was a hockey player called Emma,
  • She wanted a tattoo made of Henna.
  • She trains with the Vipers,
  • And is a bit of a Sniper,
  • Thank god she's no longer in diapers.
  • She's 14 years old,
  • And has a bit of a cold.
  • She plays for the boys
  • Because she's really not that coy.
  • She's quite feisty at paintball,
  • But she's really not tall,
  • Coach Chic doesn't scare her at all.
  • She trains on a Sunday,
  • And sometimes on a Monday,
  • Because for Emma when it comes to hockey,
  • Everyday is a fun day :)
  • A few words from the coaches..."Not only is Emma Skirmish Sanders clearly a talented poet and comedienne but she is a talented sportslady. She comes from a diverse sporting background and we are hoping that she will be able to draw from her competing experience and add some much needed grit to this team! Unfortunately for us, but lucky for her, Emma still has youth on her side. She is at a perfect age to develop her hockey and to gain from the wealth of experience of her coaches and peers. It is down to her committment and hardwork as to the development and improvement she can make over the next year. A feisty young lady who we are all sure is up for the fight required to become a great hockey player (but no paint balls allowed on the ice - the arena staff would go mental!)"
