New Season and New Website

The Nottingham Vipers are back and in-training for the new season. With lots of new faces on the ice, the Vipers are starting the season with more registered players than they have had in quite some time. This is joyful news to the head coach, JS, who is very welcoming of this new-sized team. When asked how pre-season preparations and signings have gone, JS told this reporter:

"I couldn't be happier. Its like Christmas has come early. I have never had some many girls approach me! It will be a bit of a shock for some of the girls having to compete for their place in a starting line-up, but I am a firm believer in the philosophy that internal competition makes players raise their game in training and that higher intensity then seeps into the games. Given the right coaching and the right attitude of the girls, this team could turn some heads this year."

Training has commenced in earnest. The girls have been on the ice for the past few weeks in anticipation of the fixtures being released (as of yet, no news on the fixtures front). Yet again womens ice hockey ranks last when it comes to announcing dates of fixtures. However, not to be deterred by this, the girls are training hard and expecting an early fixture.

Anyway, to entertain you whilst you are awaiting the fixtures announcement, Vipers unveiled their new-look website the other day. It is still very much a work-in-progress but the new structure of the website has started to take shape. If you have any comments on the new design, please feel free to contact the Vipers organisation via the contact page.
